Salman Khan weaves his magic on the audience

It's an excess, and we’re getting it in excess. From news to entertainment to drama to fact and fiction, television channels have suddenly gone gaga over Salman Khan. After consciously steering clear of media invasion, a balding Sallu Mian is now much a ‘Wanted’ man. Switch to Zoom or Sony or Zee or Star any other channel, and the man’s there, chatting away to glory. From discussing his forthcoming release “Wanted: Dead of Alive” to guessing percentages in Dus Ka Dum, walking in with mummy on Tere Mere Beach Mein to replying to journos, the actor’s pulling it off everywhere. And the latest is an appearance on Sony’s CID.

Salman Khan has joined hands with ACP Pradyyuman and his team and on this Friday’s episode, will investigate a piracy racket where prints of Salman’s latest movie Wanted are available in the market even before its release. The CID team thus comes together with Salman, who plays himself in the show to nab the culprits and send out a strong message against piracy to the audience. ACP Pradyyuman along with Salman finally manages to get hold of the criminals. Tune in and watch Salman Khan on CID this Friday at 10p.m on Sony.

Meanwhile, on Dus Ka Dum, he takes Rani Mukerji’s trip over her weight loss for Dil Bole Hadippa. “You better watch out for if you give up now you will spread sideways! If we don’t like what we see in the mirror how will the audience?” Valid point. In fact, following close on publicity stilettoes is Rani herself, making an appearance on every chat show, news interview and celeb snippets. Aren’t there other actors in Dil Bole Hadippa? Guess not!
