Akshay hurt on Housefull sets

One of the most daring actors in the industry, Akshay loves doing his own stunts and has escaped unhurt several times. But of late, it seems the actor is going through somewhat bad spate. A cople of months ago he got badly injured doing an underwater sequence for Blue. He hit his head 150 feet under water and started bleeding very badly.

Two days ago, Akshay was shooting a simple scene for Sajid Khan's Housefull. He had to dive into the deep end of a swimming pool. Unfortunately his timing went wrong and water seeped into his ears. Although Akki came out of the pool in no time, the damage was already done.

Apparently the water had reached his ear drums causing pain and uneasiness. He complained of excruciating earache at aroung 4am and was immediately rushed to a hospital. A specialist was called for, who asked Akshay to either rest for an entire day in the hospital or at home.

Since Akshay had to report to the sets of his new film Khatta Meetha the next day, a special chopper was hired to take him there.

Last heard, Akshay was feeling much better after medication.
