The actor wasbeaten up in real by his close friends on the sets of Jail, to achieve this look and was tortured badly to get into the feel of the character. Emotional support was important, so his mother was also present on the sets. Apart from this, Neil did not even take a bath for three days and disconnected with the world for about five days. He did not take anyone’s calls, not even his family’s. It actually took Neil about a month to get out of the jail fear once the shoot was over.
